About this document 

Strategy Cards is a SaaS platform for collaborative strategy formulation, enhanced with optional Artificial Intelligence (AI) features. This policy outlines our approach to AI use within the platform, ensuring transparency, control, and responsible data handling. 

Purpose of AI in Strategy Cards 

AI is integrated to assist users by: 

• Offering intelligent suggestions and prompts during strategic planning. 

• Helping identify risks, opportunities, and gaps in strategic thinking. 

• Supporting analysis through synthesis of data provided within workbooks and worksheets. 

Key Principles

1. User Control and Transparency
   AI features are optional and clearly identified in the interface. Users choose when and how to activate AI assistants, ensuring that strategic decisions remain under human oversight.  Organization administrators can elect to disable AI features for all users within their organization.  
2. Data Privacy and Boundaries
   
   1. We uphold strict data governance principles:
   2. No customer data is used to train AI models.
   3. All AI processing respects organizational data boundaries.
   4. Data used during AI-assisted sessions remains confidential and is not retained for external model training or shared with third parties. 
3. Security and Compliance
   Strategy Cards operates within a secure, SOC 2-compliant environment hosted on AWS. All AI interactions comply with our broader data protection and acceptable use policies.
4. Continual Learning – without your data
   Our AI capabilities are periodically updated to improve relevance and performance, but model updates are derived from non-customer data sources. Your data remains private and under your control at all times. 
5. Fit for Purpose
   AI is designed to augment—not replace—human strategy development. Its outputs are suggestions only and should be reviewed critically by users as part of the collaborative process. 
6. Your Responsibility 
   By enabling AI features, users agree to use them within the scope of our Acceptable Use Policy and remain responsible for any decisions or strategic conclusions derived from AI-assisted insights.
